On December 9, 2019 in spite of clearly expressed and nearly unanimous citizen opposition the Coalville City Council voted to approve the rezoning of 1,525 acres related to the Wohali project. 7 days after this decision was made 6 Coalville residence submitted an application to have the ordinance referred to a vote of the public. Below is the full timeline of events and deadlines that if followed will give Coalville citizens the chance to cast their vote on the Wohali project.

If enough valid signatures are gathered the Ordinance No. 2019-7 will be placed on the ballot of the next municipal election. In order for your signature to be valid on the referendum petition you must be registered to vote in Coalville. Make sure you are eligible.
